Book Drop is a literacy initiative led by Jennifer Nielsen, NY Times Bestselling author of the False Prince series, The Mark of Ascendence series, and more.
The Book Drop program brings NY Times, bestselling and/or highly-acclaimed authors to Title One schools across America. The authors give a powerful and motivating assembly that helps students of all ages and backgrounds fall in love with books and reading. Book Drop then donates one copy of the author’s book to each student in the school.
Book Drop has partnered with knowonder! to offer students a never-ending supply of literacy resources, stories and books beyond the initial author visit.
Book Drop pays for each school to give a FREE one-year membership to each child to knowonder!‘s ever-increasing digital library of read-aloud stories, Fun Fact! non-fiction articles, Child Genius 101 lessons, early-reader chapter books, middle grade books and more!
